After three days of devouring, 100 years of solitude by Gabriel Garcia Marquez. I have more to think about. I am more than ever confident that life continues in eternal circles while we age. Love and tragedy come hand in hand. Those things can be restored a million times, but they will never escape the inevitable ending of decrepitude. Because things just like human lives are not meant to be immortal. Life is short, and what follows us in our old age are the memories that have not escaped from our brittle minds. The people that surrounded us will and do create an impact in our world. The people we dislike, we become nostalgic for past events, not because we had learned to love them but because they were our torturous companions, a reminder of certain times and phases of our lives. Solitude will cause many things to happen to our interiors and, thus, life. "Cease, cows! Life is short."
